Warehouse Manager

Pella Products, Inc., a distributor of Pella Windows and Doors, has an immediate need for a Warehouse Manager at our Dunmore, PA location.



The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the branch’s order fulfillment operations including receiving, distribution,  painting and serving as the key driver for continuous improvement activities. The successful candidate will directly manage 6 employees, with responsibility for interviewing, hiring and training along with planning; assigning and directing work.  They will be responsible for preparing and conducting performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.   The successful candidate will also be responsible for the maintenance of the facilities and a fleet of vehicles.

 

Additional responsibilities include: DOT compliance for vehicle fleet safety; communicating all company policies, objectives, and programs to their team; planning, staffing, developing and overseeing all warehouse department budgets, enforcing company policies; and fostering integration throughout the entire organization. The Warehouse Manager is also a key member of the management team where strategic planning and direction is set.

The successful candidate will have excellent people management skills as well as possess a drive to maintain 100% “Very Satisfied” customers, and grow both the market share and profitability of the Company. A local candidate with a minimum of 5 years of related experience is ideal. Essential skills include: Hands-on approach, leadership, vision, coaching, communication, high energy and the desire to be part of a winning team.  In addition, the design and implementation of process improvement initiatives, the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions is essential.
