Warehouse Manager - 2nd Shift

Plans, organizes and monitors employees picking bulk pet food orders, quality control, loading trucks and transferring of product between two warehouses.  Responsible for maintaining safety and AIB standards.  Prepares and analyzes daily reports and paperwork.  Position is accountable to meet department operating standards with focus on customer service.  Supervises Shipping Supervisor, Invoice Coordinator and warehouse employees during a second shift operation starting at 3:00 p.m. in Monday through Friday distribution operation.

 

To be successful candidate must have 3+ years of distribution management experience including ability to supervise, coach and train; manage staff; ability to resolve conflict; maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor; and implement systems and procedures.  In addition to strong people management skills this manager must have strong time management and organization skills.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and distribution software needed.
