Water Resources Analyst

Company completes transactions of water rights and other water assets primarily in the southwestern US.  Principal of Company is manager of water private equity fund.  Company has been in business for over twenty years.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  Managing and administering contracts and closings of water rights, real property and other transactions, by working with lawyers, title companies, principals and partners. Directing and managing due diligence, title investigations and technical studies related to water and real property transactions. Completing research related to targeted acquisitions for private equity fund managed by Company. Preparation of spread sheets and completing financial analysis of prospective transactions.  Assisting in the preparation of business plans. Preparation of marketing and due diligence materials for the sale of water assets and projects and in other ways supporting marketing efforts. Provide project information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; maintaining databases and files and drafting reports.

Skills/Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree or higher degree in geography, economics, finance, business, engineering or other field related to water resources.  Experience in water transactions, real estate, or financial analysis
