Job Description:Description This is a permanent position.In this position, you will work with the team to develop web-service/web-applications for the next generation of content delivery for scientific information. The position works closely with the operations team to build scalable and reliable products used by companies around the global. The successful candidate will have a complete understanding of the multi-tier stack and building production quality products. Essential Functions: Design and creation of high-performance and highly scalable business objects used by our online services Creation of Object Relational Mapping entities to provide data to the business objects from vast databases Generation of supporting Oracle SQL and DDL for relational mapping Creating web-service test clients in .Net for examples, unit and stress-testing purposes Research and development into new thin-client technologies such as Ajax and Silverlight Deployment and internal-support of EJB based web-based applications and services Liasion with Operations team for fault-finding and problem-solving Requirements:Must have:5 yrs experience with Java and Enterprise applications 3 yrs experience with J2EE applications and application servers Experience working with XML parsing, creating, schema, XSLT etc. Basic HTML, Javascript, SQL Excellent troubleshooting skills Proactive communication style Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, as well as collaboration with a development team Good to have:EJB 2.0+ Object-Relational Mapping technologies Java Web-services experience .Net 2.0+ experience Oracle Application server experience Oracle DB experience Creating web-applications You can view all of our jobs online at http://www.ajilonconsulting.com
