Job Description Job Description:The Workers Compensation Claims Analyst handles medical only claims internally and reports more serious worker compensation injuries to the appropriate third party administrator and works directly with the company's operational group by communicating appropriate claim status information as needed. The position reports to Risk Management Supervisor and the position is located in Carson, CA. Position Requirements: Will be responsible for collecting and investigating worker compensation claim information from field operations. Medical only claims will be handled, tracked and paid internally utilizing assistance from the appropriate outside bill review vendor. All invoiced savings will be logged. The individual will report all lost time worker compensation claims to the appropriate third party administrator, (TPA's), and be responsible for initiating and maintaining frequent communication with the Taps. This position will be the primary Company point of contact for two way communication with the injured workers.Other essential functions are preparing reports on investigations, settlements and denials of claims as well as understanding of California jurisdictional procedure and review of medical treatments, loss run review and attendance at periodic claim reviews with Taps, and outside defense counsel.Apply for this great position today!
