Our continued growth has produced a need for Associate Inspector in our Jackson, Mississippi location. RESPONSIBILITIES:  The primary function of this position is to perform inspections and testing of fire alarm, and security systems   Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection.  Complete inspection reports in a timely manner.  Positively and professionally represent SimplexGrinnell while conducting inspections and testing for our valued customers. Calling our customers to schedule inspections for fire alarm systems. Filing all inspection reports once they are completed. Dispatching up to eight inspectors for at least a week in advance. Maintain a 98% on- time inspection rate. Mail & email all inspection paperwork to customers once the inspection is complete.QUALIFICATIONS:  •  Be able to problem solve•  Self motivated •  Reliable Transportation•  Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.•  Must be able to lift 50 lbs.•  Crawl up ladders and work in unusual conditions.•  Must be able to work flexible working hours including working out of town at times.•  Valid driver’s license  with good driving record.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: •  Good written and oral communication skills. •  Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems such as WindowXP/NT/2003 SimplexGrinnell offers an exceptional compensation and benefits package that includes educational assistance, matching 401(k) plans and Incentive opportunities in a highly charged but friendly work environment.
