Gallery Consultant

  We are looking for high-energy people to join our galleries sales team nationwide. Strong sales experience and customer service required. Must be willing to relocate and travel, open to flexible schedules and be able to work weekends. This is a full-time position with benefits and competitive salary.

We currently have open positions in San Diego CA, Monterey CA, Carmel CA, San Francisco CA, and Maui HI.RESPONSIBILITIES•  Development and maintenance of new art collectors to ensure gallery meets its cash flow and profit goals.  •  Identify customers’ needs and insure new clients understand our products•  Follow up with customers to ensure higher sales•  Open/Close Gallery•  Ensure gallery is presentable•  Run store inventory as required•  Sell artwork and merchandise with enthusiasm •  Maintain a positive attitude and fun environmentQUALIFICATIONS 

  We are looking for qualified and dedicated individuals who are highly independent with a proven track record in the sales fields. •  2-3 Years experience in a retail sales environment required. •  Associates/Bachelor’s Degree preferred. •  Must be willing to relocate and travel.•  Flexible schedule (including late evenings and weekends) required.•  Strong interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills.•  Computer literate; Microsoft Word and Excel Required.•  Ability to stay motivated and on task with minimal supervision.•  Effective negotiation and closing skills.•  The successful candidate must have strong presentation, organizational and negotiation skills as well as knowledge of the art sales environment.A FEW WORDS ABOUT OUR COMPANY...Rip Squeak Inc. is formed by a group of theme galleries focusing in children’s literature and fine art.
