Job Description:


The Director of Operations reports directly to the President of the company.This position is responsible for managing over 12 drivers, 2 warehouses and more than 30 employees.  The Operations Director is responsible for safety compliance, staffing, scheduling, training, maintenance, and quality profitable operations performance for the company.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

3 to 5 years management and transportation industry related experience,Effective verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills,Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations,Effective interstate planning, scheduling skills and experience,Flexible to changing routines in order to accomplish the common goals of the company,Effective computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel,Ability to train, manage, and interact with production employeesCollege degree preferred but not required,
