Human Resources Assistant
Summary
We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of administrative responsibilities to support the HR function.
Primary Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS and other business application system(s), including processing of all new hires, terminations and status changes accurately and efficiently.Communicate employee changes to processing team (HR/Benefits, Payroll, etc)Create and maintain new employee folders and associated employee files. e.g., medical, EEO, I-9, etc.Maintain a system for document control of employee records including original paper and electronic documents.Provide support to club management in regards to employee data/recordsProvide administrative support, administer distribution, tracking and reporting of employee performance evaluations.Conduct and ensure that required background checks are completed prior to hireEnsure that appropriate employment authorization documentation is completed upon hire.Support recruiting process and applicant tracking systems, e.g., enter position requisitions, create and place job ads, coordinate interview schedules, coordinate pre-employment screening, prepare offer and other letters, etc.Run queries and maintain ad hoc report as required, such as Headcount, New Hire, Termination, Open Position, Service Award, Turnover, EEO, etc.Ensure that Federal, State, and local posting requirements are always current in Corporate and in the Clubs.Assist in the coordination of various Corporate and Company events.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
w One to three years of business experience with some exposure to Human Resources
w Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
w Experience working with HRIS systems strongly preferred
w Ability to learn new software and computer applications, with ease
w Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills
w Outstanding organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple assignments
w Excellent attention to detail
w Exceptional ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
