Join Polish on Piedmont Nail and Skin Spa, Oakland’s premier Neighborhood Day Spa as one of our three Assistant Managers.

Polish is looking for a dynamic, motivated, sharp, go getter to join our team of Assistant Managers.  You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the spa as well as be responsible for your assigned department (we have three departments:  nails, esthetics, massage) which will rotate in responsibility between two or three managers.

Assistant Managers are responsible for the following duties:Booking Appointments and Answering PhonesIndividual Retail Sales, Inventory ordering and checking, Hiring,HR issues, Scheduling, Managing the flow of the spa daily, Internal projects, Ensuring cleanliness, Ensuring High level of Client Service,Opening and Closing the SpaProduct KnowledgeMaintenance and upkeep of spa (laundry, washing dishes, disinfection, garbage etc…)

Must be organized, have experience with management, experience with sales, computers, and client service, can motivate and lead a staff, job stability, and would like to grow with our booming spa.   You will constantly be on the go and it is a fast paced environment. 

Hourly will start at $13+/hourDOE plus retail commissions.  After six months of training you  will increase to $13.50+ doe hour plus retail commissions and will transition into full time.  Medical benefits are available for 30 hours a week and after 30 days of employment.
