RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will play a key role in driving Contract customer satisfaction of print related orders. Manages and expedites the execution of transactional print jobs from customer quote acceptance through final customer delivery. Coordinates with key partners in sales, operations and with vendors to make sure required job information is gathered and communicated, resulting in customer jobs that are accurate and timely. Primary contact for job specific question and problem resolution. Maintains solid procedures throughout the process. Manage and expedite the execution of transactional print jobs•Coordinates print jobs from customer quote acceptance through final customer delivery.•Verifies that all of the information to process the order is available and accurate, including pricing, job specifications, artwork, delivery details, etc.•Follows-up with the customer and/or sales team to collect missing information.•Partners with Buyers to confirm elements of customer quote.•Keys order details into Staples systems as needed.•Communicates order with vendor, including systemic release and cutting of purchase order.•Addresses vendor questions and concerns.•Orchestrates proof acceptance between vendor and customer.•Adapts to job changes as dictated by the customer, sales or operations team.•Delivers job status updates to sales organization, Implementation Manager and cross functional operations team.•Confirms final vendor job execution.•Raises concerns when job is at risk and identifies options to get it back on track.•Handles multiple jobs at a given time, maintaining visibility to due dates.•Acts as primary contact for job specific questions and problem resolution.•Maintains effective follow-through, inline with standard operating procedures, throughout the process.•Identifies opportunities for process improvements, assisting in development of effective strategies to implement them.•Shares vendor performance concerns with vendor management team and buyers for follow-up. QUALIFICATIONS1. 2-3 years in a 4-color print production environment or buying role.2. 2-3 years customer service experience, preferably with commercial customers.3. Proficient in use of page layout software programs such as MS Publisher, Quark and Adobe Creative Suite.4. Digital copy experience a plus.5. Highly organized and detail oriented.6. Strong computer skills with an ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.7. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.8. Flexible team player with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, functioning in a fast-paced environment under regular time pressures.9. Capable of working efficiently in team and independent situations.10. Ability to consistently communicate effectively with customers, vendors and associates.
