Accounting Analyst II

IMMEDIATE OPENING

 

The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for providing financial support in achieving monthly objectives, meeting report deadlines in the course of the accounting close cycle, and testing process controls.  This position typically interacts with non-financial people to gather and test data.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure journal entries and accounting close related responsibilities are completed accurately and timelyMonthly balance sheet reconciliation and P&L analysisEvaluation and testing of internal controlsPerform special financial projects as assignedInvolved in intercompany financial reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 3-5 years directly related experience, including financial close processingBachelor degree in Accounting or FinancePossesses knowledge of computerized accounting systems, SAP preferredApplies analytical skills to identify and solve problemsPossesses strong communication skills, written and verbalPrior experience testing process controls through interviews and evaluating and documenting test resultsPrior experience preparing journals and account reconciliationsExperience with SOX or Internal Audit is required
