Merrill Corp., a national leader in the financial printing, direct marketing, fulfillment and printing industry, has an Administrative Assistant position in our Client Services group available at our Monroe, WA facility:Position SummaryProvide exceptional, professional customer service support to Client Services employees, and all inbound callers. Ensure outstanding service, satisfaction and support to Merrill Monroe facility employees, customers and vendors. Ensure all written and verbal communication is handled in a professional, responsive, respectful and timely manner with all external and internal customers. Ensure all department filing is maintained in an accurate and timely manner, in compliance with corporate retention policy. CommunicationSignificant daily contact with external customers and vendors as well as internal co-workers.Occasional contact with all levels of management. Duties and Responsibilities Greets vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors in a friendly, professional manner. Operates a telephone console or switchboard to route incoming calls to the appropriate party. Receives and relays messages in a timely manner. Operates an overhead paging system in a professional manner. Reports console malfunctions and maintains repair records on an ongoing basis. Provides and performs typing, clerical and misc. project work, as assigned. Distribution of faxes and mail to Client Services personnel. Prepared outbound Client Services mail for other Merrill locations, vendors and customers. Participate in the planning, coordinating and implementation of Team Merrill events, as needed. Maintains customer and vendor files in an accurate, timely manner in compliance with corporate standards. May process daily customer business card orders. Other misc. projects/duties as assigned Level of Proficiency/QualificationsExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsEnsures exceptional customer service and professionalismFollows standard policies and proceduresDemonstrated problem solving and decision making skillsProven ability to multi-task in a time sensitive and deadline driven work environmentDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsResolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.Proficient in MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, phone system, etc. Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma with minimum of 2-3 years related customer service and administrative support experience.
