Advertising Account Executive

Seeking sales driven individual to sell advertising in national magazines such as 4-Wheel & Off Road and Truckin out of either our Anaheim or Los Angeles office. Job Summary:  ·  Sell display advertising space, internet ads and event sponsorships per goals outlined in Plan·  Generate revenue through advertising sales, renewal and existing business·  Service existing advertising clients (meet with at trade shows/make in-office sales calls)·  Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential advertising accounts·  Manage monthly closing for ad space and material·  Prospect for new business targeting potential advertisers to acquire new accounts·  Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.·  Attend trade shows, events and travel to assigned territory to be familiar with the marketplace trends and develop new business. Requirements:·  College degree·  2-3 years sales experience (advertising/print media sales)·  Excellent written & verbal communication skills·  Strong customer service & client relations skills·  Demonstrated interpersonal skills·  Motivated self-starter·  Familiarity with market and field of interest·  Knowledge of production procedures & specifications·  Computer Skills: MS Office, MSG, DataTrac Salary plus commission as well as competitive benefits including company matched 401k plan and generous PTO plan. Please submit resume and salary history to: career@sourceinterlink.com .  Please include “Acct Exec Truck” in the subject line.  EOE, M/F, D/V. Source Interlink Companies is a leading marketing, merchandising, content and fulfillment company of entertainment products, including DVDs, music CDs, magazines, books and related items.
