Advertising Coordinator - Marine Group

Advertising CoordinatorSource Interlink Media is currently seeking a bright and motivated individual to join our team as an Advertising Coordinator  within the Marine group. Responsibilities for the Advertising Coordinator will include:  Maintaining the billing portion of the A/R department which involves checking advertising orders, ad contracts and invoices while interacting with advertisers, Sales and Production to ensure accurate billing Entering all advertising contract information into billing database accurately Ensuring accuracy of advertising orders and costs prior to final billing in order to minimize discrepancies Checking the monthly map for two magazines against billing data and updating billing database when necessary; working with the Sales, Production and Finance teams for reconciliation purposes Distributing monthly issue and commission reports as well as communicating the necessary information for accurate reporting Supporting Production Manager with projects as neededThe successful candidate must be a self-starter who works well independently as well as in a group setting. This individual must possess excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Publishing experience and college degree is a plus, although a degree is not required for this position.A minimum of 1 year of clerical experience is required for this position.  Computer proficiency including experience with Excel is required.Salary commensurate with experience.
