Advertising Sales Position - Newspaper/Magazine

Join our Advertising Sales team at Los Angeles CityBeat/ValleyBeat and New Angeles Monthly magazine and help two of the fastest-growing entertainment-based publications in Los Angeles to become even better!  In this position, you would meet with business owners and help them to grow or protect their business by advertising their products or services in our publications. This is a fun, fast-paced and challenging position that requires an individual who is organized, people-oriented and willing to work hard in a creative environment.

You will need to feel comfortable in meeting with the owners of a mom-and-pop shop, on up to the CEO of a large retail enterprise. You will also need to feel comfortable in talking to and meeting with a lot of people.

You would have the opportunity to sell across our network of newspapers and magazines in Southern California - unlimited potential! We have a circulation of over 550,000 combined, with over 1.5 million readers!

This is a full-time position with benefits including health, and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(K) retirement plan. The compensation is a combination of salary, incentives, commissions and bonuses.

Qualifications:
Previous sales experience is a plus but not required. Previous media sales experience is a definite plus but not essential. Must possess own vehicle and valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and selling skills, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a desire to grow with us.
