Business Analyst
Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., Inc., the world’s largest publisher of consumer magazines has an opportunity for a business analyst in our newly created centralized procurement department. The business analyst will support the Chief Procurement Officer and staff in managing all aspects of the purchasing matrix: analyze expenses, create RFPs, liaise with internal clients and external vendors, monitoring vendor performance, efficiency and workflow initiatives, real estate management, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
The candidate will have 2 to 3 years of related work experience. MBA preferred. Strong analytical and interpersonal/communication skills are required. Initiative and follow through, getting things done. Excel and Power Point required. PeopleSoft experience and familiarity with procurement software is a plus.
