Business Development Director

CK MEDIA, a leading publisher of crafting, quilting and sewing magazines, is seeking a qualified candidate for a Business Development Director position.  This position may be based in our Utah office in Bluffdale, just outside of Salt Lake City, or in our Colorado office in Golden, just outside of Denver.



Duties:

· Identifies potential business partners/licensees and negotiates agreements.

· Responsible for reviewing and analyzing information and developing new initiatives and partnerships. 

· Assesses, evaluates, establishes and develops business opportunities with content and technological partners.

· Coordinates and negotiates with internal teams to execute agreements (e.g. product development, marketing, sales, events, editorial teams, etc.)

· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing or a related area and at least 5 years of experience in business development. 

· Strong in Microsoft office suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

· Proven analytical skills

· Excellent communication skills
