Client Services Coordinator (Digital & Print)
Questex Media Group, a Boston-based B-to-B media company, has a brand-new, thrilling opportunity for a hands-on, web-savvy sales coordinator to manage all administrative and trafficking efforts for ad sales of Travel Agent magazine, the newly-relaunched TravelAgentCentral.com, and related media products. This position reports directly to the Group Publisher, working closely with salespeople, the ad manager, the marketing director, and clients. This is the perfect position for someone who is well organized, detail- and deadline-oriented, very web savvy, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Facilitates the sale of digital and print advertising with respect to scheduling, follow-up on material trafficking and deployment, and reporting
§ Collaborates with our Ad Traffic team to ensure on-time delivery of required ad materials, conducts pre-flight checks to ensure viability of ad files and notifies advertisers/agencies of further requests/requirements
§ Ensures that all necessary departments (sales/billing/ad traffic/production) receive correct insertion orders. Follows up with billing department to make sure clients get billed properly
§ Schedules all site advertising, newsletters, and custom e-mails with the appropriate departments and using designated scheduling tools
§ Acts as the key customer liaison between the client, the salesperson, the ad manager, and billing with regard to proper and timely submission of material
§ Maintains, updates, and distributes ad specifications to advertisers/agencies for units available on respective Questex travel sites.
§ Receives ad materials for custom e-mails and other custom projects. Inspects materials and works with clients and salespeople in upholding company policies for material submission
§ Maintain an understanding of site and newsletter inventory and consistently communicate this to all parties
§ Follows up on proper deployment of all advertising assets
§ Creates and runs ad campaign reports (using ad management and e-mail reporting software) to provide to sales reps and clients with stats
§ Compiles audience and newsletter traffic reports for use by the sales teams in their presentations, media kits, and other promotional initiatives
§ Ensures that the sales team has the required sales materials and support information for all RFP responses
§ Provide excellent customer service to clients as needed to resolve any campaign or billing issues
§ Maintains Salesforce database for the group
§ Month-end billing reconciliation for Custom projects and reconciliation of digital impression allocation with production
§ Performs other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Associates Degree in design or communications, or at least 2 years of professional web related experience
· Must thrive in fast-paced environment and have a proven ability to work well within a team environment while accomplishing individual projects.
· Software experience must include Excel, Web-based tools, some HTML and image-resizing knowledge
· Experience with the following (or similar) a plus: Salesforce, Atlas, Lyris, Photoshop, Ilustrator
