Position Description:

Constructor Reporter This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a reporting assignment where General Contractors, Construction Managers and Design/Builders are the primary sources of information with the purpose of generating high quality information about private and public sector construction projects as early in the project lifecycle as possible. This position is responsible for producing a specified quantity of timely and accurate information. The type of information acquired may be exclusive and is considered high value to customers and market. The position requires the occupant to make time sensitive decisions which immediately impact product quality and marketability. • Develops relationships with authoritative sources at assigned constructor firms such as; general contractors, design/builders and construction managers who negotiated as the “CM at Risk”. • Contacts source firms to discover and report on public sector and private sector projects that are in the bid phase which source is competitively bidding on.• Contacts source firms to track private sector projects in the pre-bid and bid phase, where the source has negotiated the contract to construct the project and is or will be accepting sub-bids.• Follows up with non-source firms to process leads and updates.• Solicits and acquires the plans & specs for projects where the source has authority to distribute plans & specs or where these firms are willing to provide plans & specs that RCD.• Meet or exceed all position goals for productivity and quality. All other functions as assigned.

Industry knowledgeable particularly with regards to the acquisition strategy,entity selection, and contract types.6. Basic Business Knowledge, 7. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Products.8.
