Copywriter - Media Networks, Inc. - Stamford, CT
Responsibilities:
Copywriting, proofreading, and editing MNI and Targeted Media sales material (i.e. sell sheets, websites, direct mail pieces, presentations)
Brainstorm creative ideas/solutions to meet advertiser or sales staff requests
Work with Marketing Department (Sales Development, Research, Creative) to develop cohesive tone/voice and look to all sales material
Write press releases, and maintain press contact list
Assist with new product launches, sales premiums, and event planning
Personality Traits:
Enjoys a fast-paced, creative environment
Self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively with creative team
Ability to present ideas and interact with sales/marketing staff as well as top management
Service-oriented approach to work
Open-minded and solution oriented
Skills:
College graduate, 5+ years’ experience (ad agency or publishing preferred)
Excellent promotional writing and communication skills
Excellent grammar, proofreading and editing skills
Excellent project management skills
Organized and able to meet tight deadlines
Experienced marketer with strong promotion background
