Cost/Procurement Analyst; Estimator

Position:  Estimator

Industry Segment: Publication Printing

Requirements:

§  Fluency and proficiency in English, both written and verbal - No Spanish needed

§  2+ years job experience in print or publication production a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

§  Analyze job specifications to ensure all required information for calculating cost are included, communicating with customer service department for clarification as required

§  Calculate total costs for both proposed and actual jobs to include comparison of quantities and more efficient purchasing

§  Compile and analyze data from past purchases and clearly identify solutions toward more efficient purchasing

§  Compile data for job cost system. Assist in reviewing documented internal procedures as related to purchasing and estimating

§  Organize documentation and analyze completed jobs and prepare billing for accuracy Produce and analyze results of job cost studies to determine accuracy of estimating, institute corrective actions where needed.
