EEI Communications, The Publishing Think Tank, has several temporary and temp to hire opportunities for accomplished Desktop Publishers in the metro Washington area.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

·  Laying out books, reports, manuals, and other documents

·  Merging documents from multiple sources and applying a unified style

·  Incorporating revisions from editors, proofreaders, and authors

 

Key job specifications include:

·  Minimum of 3 years of desktop publishing experience in a production environment

·  Expert-level skills in Adobe InDesign

·  Excellent working knowledge of publication standards for long documents

·  Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment

·  Strong working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
