Provide editors with technical assistance, consultation, and project management services for electronic titles and content. Responsible for the production of electronic ancillaries that accompany Elsevier Science book products as well as stand-alone products sold separate from book products. Establish and maintain successful online and multimedia production processes in coordination with the existing Elsevier Science publishing model.Qualifications BA or BS, with emphasis in New Media development, computer science, liberal arts or communications. 2-5 years hands-on experience in multimedia, online development and or e-learning. Concern for order, quality, accuracy, flexibility and time management. Strong cross - platform interactive product development experience should include; Video production, Multimedia authoring, HTML, XML, CD-ROM development. Familiarity with high level multimedia authoring tools such as Authorware, ToolBook, Dreamweaver, Director and Flash. Strong project management skills.
