Estimator

Prepare price estimates for existing or potential customers of Dartmouth Printing Company and Dartmouth Journal Services.  Provide solutions and alternatives to customer productions requirements that help in the overall sale of the job.  Oversee quality, accuracy and schedule requirements in estimating.

 

Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills. Five years experience in print production planning or print estimating. Comprehensive knowledge of print manufacturing process including layout, imposition, technical capabilities of pre press, press and bindery equipment. Basic understanding of paper, including paper size, M weight, grades, and properties. PC computer knowledge of Microsoft software packages with a demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel. High degree of attention to detail. Strong business mathematics aptitude. Experience with Logic and Logic Quick Quote is plus. Knowledge of front end composition service is a plus. Bachelors degree is preferred.
