External Reporting Manager

 

Responsibilities

o Annual External Audit

§ Assist in the coordination of external audit, working directly with PwC

§ Draft consolidated financial statements

§ Consolidate and analyze rollforward of various balance sheet accounts

§ Assist with US GAAP and IFRS conversion

§ Consolidate footnote supporting documentation

o Coordinate global intercompany elimination process

o Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and narrative for bank reporting purposes

o Lead the annual financial reporting process including the creation and maintenance of the year end reporting package as well as the validation of accounts prior to submitting to PwC for audit of the year end financial consolidation

o Provide training and guidance to the field on year end reporting requirements

o Analyze monthly financial results

o Consultation to the field on accounting policies and account definitions

o Foreign currency analysis (periodic CTA evaluation)

 

· Oversee Corporate accounting function

 

· Assist with the HFM Implementation Process and On-Going development.

o Develop and maintain a consolidation process within HFM

o Maintain and analyze periodic rollforward schedules (Equity, Intangibles and Fixed Assets, Interest and Taxes)

o Global intercompany matching process

o Cash flow statement analysis

o Manage legal structure in HFM for global consolidation purposes

 

· Other

o Assist in managing process improvement for Corporate finance group

o Assist in the development and maintenance of various Corporate accounting policies

o Assist in the development and maintenance of various Corporate and group-wide internal controls associated with reporting

o Special projects as identified

 

· Staff

o 1 Financial Analyst (in addition to occasional temporary employees for yearend and special projects)Requirements

 Four year college degree with major in AccountingMinimum 5 years experience in consolidation and international accountingCertified Public Accountant with Big 4 experience and/or MBA preferred, but not required depending upon work experienceStrong systems experience and expertise with financial consolidation tools - Exposure to Hyperion Enterprise/HFMAbility  to travel overseas (1-3 times per year)Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skillsStrong Communication SkillsAbility To: Meet deadlines and work in a team environmentMulti-taskEstablish prioritiesAdapt to change
