Our goal is to be THE one-stop source for the newest office equipment technology – technology that is backed by programs, systems and guarantees designed to help business be more efficient and profitable.
The primary purpose of this job is to increase sales and revenue to CARR Business Systems by identifying and successfully selling to all government (local and state) and education accounts that qualify within the Long Island area.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESNew business prospecting and development, including cold calling, scheduling client introductions and meetings; attending bidders conferences; preparing presentations, proposals, and bid specifications to strategically win new business in the Government and Education sectors on Long Island.Meet/exceed established sales quotas.Follow-up on telemarketing and mailing campaign/activities.Prepare proposal for accounts requiring solutions.Establish CARR Business Systems as a vendor of choice within identified account list.Keeping abreast of Government and School district activities on Long Island.Demonstrate capabilities of all equipment marketed by CARR.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Work requires 8+ years of successful experience in the Government and Education sectors.Excellent negotiation, organizational, and project management skills.Advanced analytical, leadership, and communication skills.Computer skills - strong knowledge of excel and word.
