Job Description

Working in-house at a commercial real estate firm, use existing templates and design new materials for multiple service groups while effectively communicating with all levels of the company and coordinating with outside vendors. Materials range from industry advertising, marketing flyers, property-specific campaigns, invitations, brochures and folders. Ability to function effectively independently as well as a member of a design team within the Marketing & Research Department supporting the company is essential.

 

Frequent Tasks

o  Design advertising and marketing collateral material

o  Create package covers and table of contents

o  Design presentation boards

o  Prepare mechanicals and mock-ups for vendors

o  Coordinate print production with clients and printers

o  Photograph local properties

o  Edit & color-correct images in Photoshop

o  Trace floor plans and maps in Illustrator

o  Create charts and graphs in Illustrator

o  Scan and manage documents and photos

o  Update reports of new developments

o  Provide back-up support to Web and PowerPoint positions

 

Skills

o  Firm grasp navigating Photoshop, Illustrator, and Quark.

o  Excellent time management and project management, multi-tasking and prioritization.

o  Implement new design from conceptualization through drafts, refinement, and production.
