POSITION: HTML DEVELOPER

REQUIREMENTS: College degree with 3-5 years experience in Web production, ensuring the quality of copy, art, and other page elements throughout the production process. Fully proficient in HTML through 4.01, XHTML 1.1 and CSS through 2.1. Ability to hand-code, manage and debug complex pages and style sheets and develop innovative solutions for page layout and presentations. Familiar with Web standards and cross-platform, cross-browser issues. Basic Knowledge of UNIX/Linux functions and Flash, including ActionScript and Flex; and JavaScript a plus. Must be organized, accurate, and detail-oriented, with a good visual sense. Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision and adhere to tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal physical demands associated with working in an office environment and prolonged computer usage.

DUTIES:

- Translates template specifications into HTML using HTML & CSS for all web products.

- Works in tandem with web development group to adjust CMS version of the template.

- Monitors the quality and consistency of elements that go into each page of all web products.

- Implements methods to improve efficiency in HTML and CSS code.

- Assures compliance with approved methods and quality standards.

- Performs quality checks at every stage of template build.

- Performs other duties as assigned but not at a higher level.
