Inside Sales Associate - Publication Industry. Temp to Hire Opportunity

Northwest Staffing Resources is currently accepting resumes in search of an EXPERIENCED and PERSONABLE Inside Sales Specialist for a local publication company in the Southeast part of Portland. Our client is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and people-oriented professional to join their small team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with permanent placement intended after successful completion of an evaluation period. Employees will be eligible for benefit package and bonus program upon completion of the evaluation period. It is a full time day shift; the rate of pay is $12/hour. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: ~Will be making outbound cold calls, generating and following up on sales leads, and negotiating contracts. ~Handle advertising renewals and provide overall sales support. ~Additional duties will be added as position develops **Quotas are set by the Sales Lead who the Inside Sales person provides his/her services too. A bonus structure is implemented as soon as the Inside Sales Employee becomes a permanent employee. Bonuses are both monthly, quarterly and can be random.** QUALIFICATIONS: ~Strong selling ability, especially over the phone. Cold Calling experience strongly preferred. ~Minimum of 2 years successful Sales experience ~Stable work history - at least 2 years at one job preferred. ~Computer proficiency required; ACT!
