Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative
Western Shield Label Company is a stable, profitable, growing company with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Rancho Dominguez, CA. We offer an excellent opportunity to join a young, energetic team of professionals in a fun and casual work environment. This is a hybrid position, offering the stability of a customer service role and the opportunity afforded by a sales position.
We’re seeking an organized and highly motivated Inside Salesperson to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
· Customer Service: Deliver efficient and professional responses to all customer inquiries and requests including, but not limited to, quotations, sample requests, order placement, product information, credits and returns, delivery and company policy.
· Inside Sales: Increase sales and profit in assigned base of accounts by capitalizing on opportunities generated by the efforts of our sales & marketing department (web site, direct mail, promotional advertising, direct sales). Including, but not limited to, timely follow-up on sample requests, quotations, and product information requests, upselling and cross-selling at time of order placement, and replacement sales on all credits & returns.
· Marketing & Sales Support: Work with other sales and marketing staff to coordinate, expedite and monitor marketing campaigns. Partner with our direct sales force to identify opportunities at active and prospective customers. Effectively communicate critical information to key personnel.
· Database Management: Maintain organized electronic files (and hard-copy as necessary) outlining all pertinent historic communication with the customer, future required or intended communication, current pricing, pending quotations, outstanding samples, pending credits & returns, and vital customer data.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years experience in customer service and/or sales.
· Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).Experience with CRM software (ACT!, Goldmine, Salesforce) a plus.
· Excellent people skills, including patience, negotiation skills, problem solving, and the ability to handle difficult or emotional customer situations. Desire to be part of a team.
· Solid communication abilities. Not only oral and written, but also active listening skills.
· Position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and solid phone skills (both inbound and outbound).
