This position is based in our Glenview office, minutes from downtown Chicago.An Inside Sales Representative maintains a large (inherited) client base and is responsible for its continued growth through business development and new client solicitation. Inside Sales Representatives call colleges and universities, talk with professors and assist them with matching our books to their courses. S/he reports to the District Sales Manager. Qualifications: ' Degree from a 4-year college with proven academic success ' Strong ability to develop rapport, overcome objections and persuade ' Superior verbal, written and phone-based communication skills ' Self starter who works independently and productively with a positive attitude ' Confident communicator with a great phone personality and active listening skills' Highly organized, detail-oriented, persistent and able to prioritize multiple tasks ' Computer savvy: must make updates in a CRM tool to build an accurate database of valuable information' 1-4 years of successful sales or other professional work experience is preferred, but not mandatory Compensation and Benefits: ' Extremely competitive starting base salary based on experience ' Aggressive bonus structure based on performance (no cap on bonus!)'
