Internal Reporter-Cary, NC

Construction Data Corporation, the 3rd largest publisher of construction information in the US, is looking for internal reporters to join our editorial team. As a reporter you will be contacting construction industry professionals via telephone and email, in a geographic territory, to gather construction project information and input that information into our database. You will forge business relationships with these contacts and follow up on project information on a daily basis.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:Make outbound telephone calls(approx 50/day) to construction firms in an assigned territory to gather pertinent construction project informationSeek alternate sources of commercial construction information Input contact details from phone calls into a contact management programForge business relationships with construction professionals to ensure the continuous flow of informationInput collected information into our databaseFollow up on calls daily to ensure proper level of contact is maintained each week

 

SKILLS:Previous use of database programIntermediate level knowledge of Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent phone manner with customer service experienceOrganizedSelf motivated Team playerQuick learner

 

Must have HS diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree preferred.

Working hours are M-F 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
