Key Account Manager (Northeast) - Boston

Time/Warner Retail (TWR) Sales & Marketing, a division of Time Inc. the leading magazine publisher in the world with approximately 130 magazines, is the largest publisher-owned magazine retail marketer and distribution services company in the industry. T/WR handles all aspects of sales and marketing in the U.S. and Canada for more than 300 magazine brands, including People, Time, Sports Illustrated, Fortune, In Style, Better Homes and Gardens, Food & Wine, Martha Stewart Living, Consumer Reports among others.

TWR seeks a strategic sales lead for its regional accounts. The role will be responsible for achievement of annual goals for our newsstand sales initiatives, building strong relationships within all levels of management at our retail clients, assessing and resolving all business challenges as they relate to category management, distribution, merchandising, and promotions for our brands. This position will be able to effectively utilize and partner with TWR Customer Development, Research, Marketing, Wholesalers etc. to drive sales through effective promotions, negotiations for Plano grams, and mutual development of client/TWR goals.

Successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years work experience at a consumer products organization or high profile retailer, with relevant work experience. Must demonstrate strong presentation, verbal and written communication, along with the ability to anticipate and manage the changing need of our customers and business. Highly-self motivated, with tenacity and a drive to achieve positive results. MS Word, Excel required.
