POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

This position is based out of our Beverly, MA Headquarters.  The Lead Copywriter is responsible for copy writing, copy editing, proofreading and managing copy process and communications for marketing activities including, catalogs, direct-mail pieces, print advertising, packaging, sales collateral, website, online media and e-mail marketing across all our business channels.  Individual will write for a wide range of presentation needs and adopt a variety of writing styles to suit project requirements and to support business strategy.

 

REQUIREMENTS:BA degree in English, Marketing or Communications2+ years experience as a copywriter - previous experience working in a direct marketing and or/catalog environment preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong project management and organization skills with ability to multi-task and follow-upDirect response writing skills are essentialExpertise of grammar, syntax and styleAble to use applications at a proficient level including word processing, database management, spreadsheet creation.   Experience with both InDesign and Quark Xpress a plusExperience proofreading and researching product informationSales focused with a curious and analytical mindLeadership qualities and outstanding conceptualization skillsMust be a self-starter, exhibit leadership qualities, and be extremely detail-oriented and able to adhere to tight deadlinesMust possess the ability to “think outside the box.” and have problem-solving mentalityHard working, task-driven mentalityDemonstrated ability of achievement
