MARKETING MANAGER FOR B2B PUBLISHER 

Business publisher located near public transportation in Newark, NJ, seeks high-energy, well-organized marketer with 2-5 years experience to join team responsible for high-volume marketing of newsletters, audio conferences, research reports, conferences and more.

 

Excellent copywriting and hands-on experience with email, fax, direct mail, web marketing a must. MS Office skills and basic HTML required. Ability to create reports in Excel required. Desktop design a plus. Bachelors degree required.

-         Create marketing schedule for products as assigned; manage and execute high-volume weekly promotional efforts for product lines as assigned, including direct mail, telemarketing, email, and web.

-         Write marketing copy in coordination with marketing team; load, create and activate promotion and key codes in product fulfillment system

-         Research prospect lists and work in subscriber database

-         Pull lists from database for variety of promotions for 13 markets, selecting them appropriately for each marketing channel and promotion; manage list merge/purge

-         Take full responsibility and serve as point person for all aspects of marketing campaigns as assigned

-         Produce weekly/monthly management reports

-         Other responsibilities as assigned

 

Requirements

-         2-5 years related marketing experience

-         Excellent copywriting and proofreading a must

-         Strong organizational and project management skills, superior attention to detail

-         Hands-on experience managing email, fax, direct mail, web marketing

-         Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced atmosphere, both autonomously and as part of a team when required

-         MS Office and basic HTML skills required-         Ability to create reports in Excel required 

-         Desktop design experience a plus -         Think fulfillment software experience a plus
