Primary responsibilities include the following.' Developing/reviewing manuscripts' Selecting/reviewing art and photos' Monitoring appropriateness of text material for reading level, content accuracy, bias, and pedagogy' Working with other editors and marketing staff to ensure that project plans and execution address customer and market needs' Working with appropriate teams to develop and monitor project schedules in all phases of product development The ideal candidates possess a degree in mathematics, some teaching experience in the middle grades or high school, and strong writing skills.
