Atlanta Magazine Marketing Manager Job Description

 

Ø  Work with publisher/marketing director/sales team to create value-added opportunities for advertisers

Ø  Work with publisher/marketing director/sales team to create special sections and events to advertise/merchandise around

Ø  Create and execute events, including house ads, invitations, mailing lists and all event logistics, with budget considerations

Ø  Work with marketing director to create and execute third-party events for Atlanta Magazine’s advertisers

Ø  Work with marketing director form long-term partnerships with advertisers, sponsors, non-profit organizations, and vendors

Ø  Work with marketing director to create/manage trade advertising to offset hard costs

Ø  Work with marketing director to create/manage outside sponsorships

Ø  Work with marketing director to create monthly “Recap Reports” that document special events and how they benefited advertisers. 

Ø  Work with marketing director to partner with advertisers on contests. 

Ø  Work with marketing director to create partnerships with advertisers, businesses and  search engines to promote Atlanta Magazine

Ø  Work with marketing director and public relations manager to utilize website to post all magazine publicity, including press releases, announcements, upcoming events and contest winners.

Ø  Work with marketing director to improve website components

Ø  Work with marketing director to create links with major advertisers and promotional partners to increase exposure

Ø  Assist sales team by providing monthly promotional email including (but not limited to) postcard mailings; Advertiser’s Advantage email blast (both content and layout); unique and exciting sales promotions; etc.

Ø  Responsible for layout and delivery of ALL Atlanta magazine and related email blasts and online promotions

Ø  Responsible for creation of any and all online sales and marketing related activities and with Garrett and Kurt/corporate

Ø  Assist sales team in any/all marketing activities not included in above bullet points
