Math Content Developer

The Math Content Developer reports to the Lead Content Developer and works as an individual contributor. The Math Content Developer is responsible for the creation, release, and maintenance of instructional content for mathematics and statistics media production by Pearson Math Media Group. Duties include, but are not limited to: writing content and correlations assessing content viability and appropriateness; developing content in accordance with instructional objectives; ensuring consistency of products and their components; correcting errors and responding to quality assurance issues; writing samples chapter tests; and occasionally performing quality assurance testing. Experience & Requirements:' BA/BS in mathematics or similar field required' Basic knowledge of computer hardware/software infrastructure' Math content knowledge at least through college calculus' Solid written English skills' Experience in education and/or educational technology' Good teamwork and collaborative skills' Ability to do thorough, accurate and meticulous work' Attention to detail is essential' Must be able to manage time effectively in producing results' Other desirable skills include: software programming and testing skillsPlease visit www.pearsoned.com/careers to apply for consideration.
