National Account Manager - Fine Homebuilding

We seek a motivated, high energy professional interested in a growth position to join the advertising sales team of FINE HOMEBUILDING magazine. Qualified applicants must possess 3 years of outside advertising magazine & online ad sales experience. Position requires heavy phone and face-to-face sales contact and correspondence to develop new print and web business and maintain existing client base. Must be a closer. Moderate national travel required.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• 70% - 80% of individual's selling time is centered on inside/phone sales with a large group of actives, prospects and former actives.
• 15% of selling time spent calling on key clients and their advertising agencies.
• 5% of selling time spent attending important trade and consumer shows to meet existing clients and prospect for new accounts.
• 3-5 years of national selling experience, preferably with heavy telemarketing emphasis.
• Outside "short sales cycle" process experience a must.
• College education preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications and contact management systems.
• Successful project leadership experience.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
