Outbound Customer Service/Sales - Part-time

Job Summary:

Initiate customer contact to achieve maximum ad billing and renewals.  Recommend ad content modifications/enhancements to improve sales success.  Gain confidence of customer and ensure high customer service standards are met.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Contact by telephone advertisers listed on printout sheet whose ads have expired to determine status of advertised item and billing; must achieve defined goals.

·  Access accounts receivable within computer system to generate direct invoice and record payments. Charge advertiser's credit card accurately when used for payment.

·  Renew, change, cancel ads or accept new ad placements and assist customers in completion of clear ads, recording all transactions via computer terminal. 

·  Provide Customer Relations with names of questionable advertisers.

·  Achieve maximum ad billing and renewals assuring high customer standards.

·  Recognize customers that require special handling and refer to Supervisor or other appropriate person.

·  Accurately record all billings.

 

Skills and Experience:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment

· Experience with outbound calling and upselling preferred

· Sales experience preferred

Available shifts(minimum requirement of 2 shifts per week):
Monday - 5-9pm
Tuesday - 5-9pm
Wednesday - 5-9pm
Thursday - 5-9pm
Saturday - 9:30am-1pm
