PACKAGING SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The position is part of an expansion project for EPI, Inc., a 45+ year old printing, packaging, and fulfillment company in Southwest Michigan.  The company has three United States locations and serves global and Fortune 1000 clients. 

 

 

We are looking for a talented individual to fill a

PACKAGING SALES REPRESENTATIVE POSITION

 

 

We are looking for someone who is:

 

·  Creative

 

·  Able to work with a high degree of autonomy

 

·  Able to "work from home" and travel is as needed

 

·  Able to create and refine position and "create their own destiny"

 

 

 

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

 

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

 

·  5-7 years industry sales experience including: premium programs, direct mail, rebates, and consumer services

 

·  Strong sales and customer service background

 

·  Positive attitude, self motivated, with a good technical aptitude

 

·  Must be highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task

 

·  Must be a quick learner, have a natural curiosity and the willingness to seek information.

 

·  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

·  Must be able to work independently and have a “can do” attitude

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 

·  Develop equipment knowledge

 

·  Maintain packaging industry expertise

 

·  Grow profitable packaging sales through regional and national relationships to fir EPI’s capabilities; including: Re-packing, cartooning, labeling, collating, bundling, etc.

 

·  Sales targets include; Local/regional manufacturing companies, consumer good, promotional sampling, automotive suppliers, food packaging companies, etc…
