PRESS OPERATOR

Standard Register's Print-On-Demand (POD) Center in Tolland, CT is seeking an experienced Heidelberg Press Operator to join our Press team working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive print service environment. We will consider candidates with a strong Press Operator background, if background is not operating Heidelberg's and will train on our specialty products. Qualifications Maintains inventory and equipment to ensure smooth office operation. Knows the principles of layout, including grid concepts, typography, photography, and placement of copy and logos. Trained in hands-on equipment maintenance. Ability to meet deadlines, set priorities. Strong work ethic. Uses time productively to accomplish work goals. Committed to meeting quality standards. Has effective organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized. Has a solid understanding of the job and its duties and responsibilities. Pays attention to detail.
