JOB OVERVIEW:

PART-TIME (15-19 hours per week) paralegal position reporting directly to VP, Business Affairs needed to assist in drafting and preparation of legal documents, proof reading, editing, document management and legal research.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

-- Must be detail oriented, extremely thorough, have excellent organizational skills and demonstrate a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel programs.

-- Paralegal Certification preferred.

-- At least two years experience working in a law firm or corporate legal dept.

-- Experience in using Lexis Nexis and related research resources a plus.

-- Knowledge of magazine publishing and/or distribution and marketing a plus, but not required, however, must be willing to learn subject matter as it relates to contractual /legal issues.
