Brown Printing Company one of the leading web offset printers of periodical and catalogue publications in the U.S. The East Greenville Division, located is Southeastern PA, operates 24/7 and has positions available in the Bindery department.

Your tasks
Read, comprehend, and perform specific binding guide instructions.
Prepare, run, and maintain machines, producing quality product. Proficient use of:
UB Binder, Trimmer, Mailhead, Strapper & Shrinkwrap machines.
Assist the 1st Operator in providing leadership and direction for crew.
Complete paperwork for each job as required.
Ensure crew follows company safety rules and policies.
Understand USPS Postal Regulations
Relieve crew and Operators as needed.
Trouble shoot machines and provide maintenance with the use of tools.
Change trimmer knives as needed.

Our requirements
Ability to withstand stress that may accompany deadlines.
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain close attention to details.
Ability to react quickly, safely, and accurately to machine problems.
Frequent heavy material handling of up to 65 lbs.
Sensory requirements of seeing and speaking.
Frequent requirements of kneeling, bending, reaching while maintaining machinery.
Ability to work 100% of the time in a manufacturing environment that may be hot, contain dust, and work around rapidly moving equipment.
Work in noise of 85 dB+ which requires the use of hearing protection 100% of the time.
