Position Title: Production Assistant

Location: New York, Pleasantville

 

Job Description:

Provide general support for the Managing Editor and Copy Desk of Reader’s Digest in numerous production and administrative tasks, which include preparing, updating
and archiving all digital files, cleanup and formatting of texts, trafficking and filing documents, overseeing office equipment, maintaining schedules, processing invoices, general troubleshooting.

 

Qualifications:

Administrative experience required.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as attention to detail, are essential.

Must have proven ability to work well under deadline pressure and as part of a team. Must be self-managing and able to set priorities among multiple assignments. Must have good Mac skills and knowledge of QuarkXPress, Word, Lotus Notes, Excel. Production or editorial experience a plus.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
