Production Assistant - International

Rodale Inc. is currently seeking a Production Assistant for their International Department based in Emmaus, PA.

The function of this position is to assist with image requests from Rodale’s foreign partners, maintain a digital and original art library and assist with various other international responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

·  Supply foreign editions of our publications with monthly free images and text through distribution of CDs, server and Compass database.

·  Maintain current content in Compass catalogs and assure that all content in catalog is checked for international reuse rights.

·  Maintain current international covers in Compass database.

·  Maintain photo library for digital and original art for current and past issues of Men’s Health, Best Life, Runner’s World, Women’s Health, Prevention, Bicycling, and various foreign editions, making sure that all original art is duplicated, processed and returned

·  Assist with photo and text requests from foreign editions and internal departments along with checking rights for reuse and checking contracts for costs

·  Fulfillment of requests and doing photo research for specific requests when required

·  Assist with PowerPoint presentations and other related materials for international department and conferences

·  Assist with contracts and other administrative duties

·  Serves over 60 foreign Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Best Life, Prevention, Bicycling, Runner’s World editions and various other internal departments

Ideal candidate will possess:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Art, Journalism, or International related field

·  Macintosh, Word, PowerPoint, knowledge required

·  Excel, Access, Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, Illustrator helpful
