This permanent Print Production Manager role includes quality control, purchasing materials and services related to design and printing initiatives with our client. You will provide direction/solutions to the creative, account management and production departments while maintaining a productive working relationship and smooth, efficient flow of communication. You will be responsible for the following (and probably more!): Refine and manage workflow processes; maintain workflow between all departments.Focus on project production schedules at the Pre-Press and Final Delivery stages.Coordinate details of production between internal teams and external vendors.Assist with graphic production including building mock-ups, scanning, distributing images, mounting for presentations.Communication liaison between creative and project management teams with regard to planning, timelines, estimates, maintaining vendor schedules and cost supervision related to all phases of project production.Provide logistical coordination and press checks.Monitor cost and performance of external vendors.Interface daily with other company departments regarding systems and procedures.Maintain knowledge of, and familiarity with, new techniques in print production graphic art field.Control bidding outside charges as it relates to client assigned projects.Job Requirements: 2-5 years print production management experience with point-of-purchase, product promotion, in-store merchandising displays and packaging.Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.You must be organized; detail-oriented, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. The ability to multi-task in response to continuous change and challenges within a fast-paced environment is essential.Working knowledge of the following industry standard applications; Adobe InDesign, QuarkXpresss, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.The best fit will be an enthusiastic team member that is, confident, decisive, solution based and deadline driven!
