Position Description:

The Production Manager's role is to provide oversight of Production staff and to insure the smooth and efficient operation of the Production Department. The Manager insures all staffing needs are met and reviews daily output against metrics to locate & address inefficiencies. The overall responsibility of the Production Manager is to insure all Production goals, quotas and output meet or exceed department expectations.

Qualifications:

1. Experience managing paper plans and specs and/or electronic plans preferred.2. College Degree preferred; High School diploma required.3. 6 plus years as management in a production type environment.4. Self directed.5. Proven ability to motivate others.6. Accepting of change and workflow process improvements.7. Prior experience monitoring work flow and output against metrics.8. Significant performance management. 9. Excellent conflict resolution skills.10. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. 11. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening). 12. Demonstrated coaching & counseling skills. 13. Strong judgment capabilities.14. Attention to detail.15. Dedication to accuracy in work. 16. Proficiency with computers.17. Six Sigma experience18.
