In the context of installing, running and diagnosing problems with the application, they should know it sufficiently to Install SQL Server, Run Enterprise Manager, Run scripts, Create and run simple queries against databases to determine what's good, not good, working, not working. The primary responsibility of the Software Quality Assurance Specialist will be to develop and implement quality assurance standards, processes and controls of Client Postpress software products. ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS · Development of effective QA test processes, including the managing of metrics for test execution and defect tracking. · Responsible for the execution of either manual or automated test cases using advanced automation tools, and the execution of different types of tests in the areas of functionality, stress, longevity, regression, performance, usability and compatibility. · Work with development and customer support engineers, to resolve quality issues. · Have a track record of releasing world-class enterprise software of the highest quality, on time, in fast-paced, customer focused development environment. · Be able to work closely with a team focused on building and maintaining a collaborative relationship between the QA and software development teams. JOB REQUIREMENTS BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree5+ years' experience with software quality assurance, delivering enterprise-class software Experience in testing Windows operating systems based applicationsExperience in testing DotNet based Windows applicationsExperience in testing RDBMS based software, including MS-SQL ServerExcellent communications skillsStrong people skills
